STOLLERY STUDIO AND WATERFALL Urunga
Gardens
Following a long collaboration on various north coast projects, Darren worked with architect Rosalie Stollery to design and build the integrated landscape surroundings for her architect’s studio. The studio is sited over a large pond fed via a waterfall created from site rocks and which appears to be connected to the extensive Keyline dam beyond. Entrance to the studio is via a timber bridge over the pond which brings guests close to the falling water.
Planting is a combination of native rainforest plants, palms, ferns, bamboos, lillies and irises creating a lush environment for both the studio and a private outdoor bathroom.
