The Danks Street South Precinct is located within the Green Square Urban Renewal Area. Northrop Consulting Engineers and 33 Parallel Pty Ltd were engaged by the Council of the City of Sydney (CoS) to prepare the Landscape design and documentation and concept civil engineering for the proposed Integrated Streetscape Concept Design for the Danks Street South Precinct development in Waterloo NSW.

The works aims to seamlessly integrate roads and access, infrastructure, flood management and water sensitive urban design solutions which will set the basis for proposed roads and public domain areas to complement future development.

The concept prioritises pedestrian and cycle traffic, open space, through site links, tree-lined streetscapes and water sensitive urban design initiatives.

Several alternative streetscape layouts have been tested in order to optimise tree cover and maximise water quality treatment.
